I purchased this piece of hardware for about 12.49 Euros from Amazon. These days I came across a very slim wifi-stick which comes from the German manufacturer CSL. After posting my last thread I continued the search for a smaller stick, because the stick I previously mentioned might block another USB port. This stick works fine with my el capitan hackintosh. Herewith I want to add another working wifi-dongle to this thread. it is a bit big and it literally blocks the USB port near it. P.S.: There is one "little" thing I don't like about this dongle. In fact, if you look up the driver on the web site on your own, you'll see that there is available a controller for OS X 10.10, however it gave me an error when I attempted to install it.

When you install the driver you'll see that it is for Mac OS X 10.5 (or higher), but, at least in my case, it's giving me no trouble at all.
You can download the driver for Mac OS X from here: However, recently I decided to give it a go on El Capitan and, to my surprise, it is working like a charm! The signal strenght is as high and continuous as it is on my Windows partition, from which I get connected using the built-in WiFi PCI card. It worked perfectly on Windows, so I ended up installing a VM with Windows XP and sharing the internet connection into Mac OS X, but as you can imagine, this took plenty of resources giving as a result a weak signal and a lot of trouble to get connected. I tried it previously on 10.6.8 and, yet I managed to make it work, it was highly unstable and never let me use any network different from the one in my house.
